Click here to sign up for youth pick up games.
Each session will begin with a practice and warm up. After the warm up, the players will be split into teams to scrimmage.
All players will need a hockey stick, reversible mesh jersey, athletic shoes, and plenty of water. There are sticks and jerseys to borrow if needed.
The sessions will be run by Dave Theriot and/or Kyle Sherry from Tucson Ball Hockey.
Waiver
A parent/guardian will need to sign the waiver for each player: Online Waiver on Jotform
Communication
Look out for emails or messages the day of and day before scheduled games. We may need to cancel or move locations due to lack of sign ups or weather.
Weather
As we approach summer, we will need to keep eyes on the temperature for game day. We will cancel the game if the forecast is at 99 degrees or higher during game time. Expect to receive a message by noon on game day.
The rink at the Boys and Girls Club retains water and remains slick for hours and sometimes days after it rains. If the rink is slick on game day, we will move the game to the concrete rink at Catalina High School.

We use BenchApp for weekly game sign-ups, event notifications, and team group chats.
Weekly games are sometimes canceled due to weather or lack of sign-ups, so BenchApp is the best way to stay in the loop.

Open BenchApp (in browser or in the app)
Tap the date from the home screen or schedule
Tap In or Out and you’re done!
You can add a note if you’re bringing additional people, will be late, or anything you want the team to know.
Other Notes:
BenchApp can be used in the browser or by downloading the mobile app.
BenchApp will send you text or email reminders to sign up for games, and you can reply to the reminder without using the app or website.
If you plan to play only occasionally and do not want weekly sign-up reminders, let us know, and we can disable them for you.
